For a decade Huemanbooks promoted diversity through literature.
We celebrate human rights, promote equity, inspire reading, elevate voices, and unite communities. As a novel independent bookstore, we have doubled down on our commitment not only to be inclusive and specialized but to embrace the world----in books.
Below we are sharing a small part of our history. These are the authors who launched their books at Huemanbooks and shared with the community their stories. They include some of the most incredible people this country has ever seen.
