The ladies behind Huemanbooks are finding new and fresh ways to meet the reading needs of all kinds of people.

Huemanbooks was born out of a passion that there was no bookstore in Harlem devoted solely to African American literature and culture and that there was no place where people could come together in a community setting to learn, exchange ideas, and enjoy themselves through reading.
